USAID Separation of Powers Program graced the cover of respected Serbian daily Politika, on Saturday, Jan 14, 2012, in a story about the weighted caseload methodology that the Program is developing. In an article titled “Stop Watch for Judges”, the SPP discussed the time-keeping exercise as the part of the caseload methodology that is currently ongoing in 37 Serbian courts.

Providing new financial management software for Serbia’s High Court Council (HCC) and courts, co-organizing the National Judges Conference, and conducting a study visit to the Netherlands for court managers and presidents were the main activities of the Separations of Powers Program (SPP) during the summer and early fall of 2011.

Methods used to improve the efficiency of courts were discussed at a meeting for court managers organized by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Separation of Powers Program (SPP) on Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
